A distinctive detail is the city’s nickname, “Crystal City,” which reflects its deep association with glass. Another local institution, The Rockwell Museum, is sometimes mistakenly linked to Norman Rockwell, but it was actually named for Bob and Hertha Rockwell, local business owners whose collection helped establish the museum.
